Stunning to think these writings have been there all my life, and I never wanted to read them or had them recommended to me. I suspect my next big project will be to read Augustine, of whom I know a little history but whose writings I've not read. (Like your Blog, Mike. I also read your "Mass of the Early Christians" last fall. good stuff.) Bless you.
