Those are just the tiniest excerpts of the various liturgies this week, the most-packed week for Orthodox services in the year, of course. If anyone’s interested in the translation I’m using, it’s that of Mother Mary and Archimandrite Kallistos Ware, The Lenten Trioodion (St Vladimir’s Seminary Press, 2001).
I’ve got more coming over the next few days, of course!
