The "Assumption of Moses" is a late apocryphal text, as is the "Ascension of Isaiah." Since no one knew where Moses had been buried, there arose accounts of the assumption of his body. The famous passage in Jude refers to these. The story goes that Isaiah went up, but came back to die on earth in due course. None of these tales claim that Moses or Isaiah did not die.
