You crack me up. All I did was list a few saints I got off the search engine, whereas you gave us the lowdown on tons of church history in a tiny little space!
I have to say, those Byzantine saint names sound like they should have their own comic books.

It gets even better with the Gnostics, who would probably be dreaming up Pokemon games today. Can’t you imagine it? All those archons you have to get past, passwords, and goofy-named spirits. One of my favorite passages from Irenaeus is when he just gives up the game of refuting these guys and parodies them instead.
