Adrian Murdoch points us to ancient manuscripts online, and searchable, at the Abbey library of St Gall. He shows us a sample from Jerome. The image would be nice for your Christmas card — as long as the recipients couldn’t read the Latin text, which is gloomy, approaching apocalyptic.
