thanks for the link, MIke. Reading the article took me back to that very special place. As Father Tarcy noted, the Church has not officially recognized the house as the site of the Blessed Virgin’s Assumption, but I can attest that the spot is very holy. The most remarkable thing is that the place is holy to Muslims (particularly Muslim women), as well as Christians. They leave their prayer requests, written on little pieces of paper, hanging from the branches of a nearby tree. Very beuatiful and moving. All in all, a place worth experiencing!
