Interesting line of inquiry, and one sure to bear fruit.  Clement of Alexandria and Origen both show evidence of Platonic influence.  Even Hippolytus thought Platonism that &quot;which has come nearest to Christian faith.&quot; (Refutation, 8.9.)  Justin Martyr used Plato to argue for the possibility of a bodily resurrection!  (Fragments 6.)  I have not read Taylor Marshall&#039;s book (I hope to do so), but I would say that he is traveling in the right direction.
