The Church has some connection to the seventy disciples, since one inscription they found mentions them. But you are right. it could simply be a pre-230 AD Church that had a special devotion to the Seventy. Either way, it is a truly amazing discovery, and it would easily qualify as one of the oldest if not the oldest church in existence.
