Sigh. Too good to be true, as they say.
Comment by Maureen 11.26.08 @ 1:47 pmWell, the Crucifixion scene did have “R.I.P.” on it, they say. That should’ve raised more eyebrows than it did.
Comment by Kevin P. Edgecomb 11.26.08 @ 3:52 pmConfession time: you know, Kevin, that RIP was so odd that I thought it a mark of authenticity. It’s something that appears on ancient Latin grave markers. It’s just the sort of thing, misunderstood, that would end up in such a crude, primitive scratching. This is how we acquire the habit of raising our eyebrows.
