Celebrate in a Milanese way. Consider, for example, a Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookie Collection 60 Count Variety Pack.
Or read his Exposition of the Holy Gospel According to Saint Luke (with Fragments on the Prophecy of Isaias), in a fairly new English translation.
Just a thought for a Sunday in Advent.

St. Ambrose was the namesake of my mother’s family’s parish in Rochester, New York. It’s where my parents were married and where my godfather had his funeral Mass. I remember walking by the large statue outside the church wondering what this man with the curious name actually did. After all these years, the first thing I think about when I hear his name is that parish.
