Archeological treasures including a Greek amphitheatre have been unearthed in the ancient city of Laodicea (see Revelation 3:14-16), which is being excavated in western Turkey.

This is great. When I first visited the region in 2004, they had just started the excavation. The had already found the main street, the fourth century Christian basilica, and the theater. Hopefully, there will be many important discoveries that will shed light on early Christianity.
