Some months back I gave a talk at Franciscan University about the liturgical phrase “And with your spirit,” and its reintroduction into the English liturgy. It’s appearing in the June issue of The Priest magazine, and the publisher has posted the full text online.

What is the source of the quote from Chrysostom, please?
I heard it cited elsewhere, but the speaker did not have a citation.

”And with your Spirit” I’m looking forward to giving this response. They give it in UGCC Liturgy. I’m happy to see that His Holiness is tweaking it back in the right direction.

What an excellent article, Mike. It should be widely read and distributed–it’s a profound and excellent explication!
